Fall Break

During fall break, we took a trip out to Washington DC. Jared's best friend lives there and his wife had just had a baby. We had a great time. 

The one thing we loved was going to a Fall Fest in Maryland. It was crazy huge. There were huge cut outs every where, mazes, bales of hay to climb on, huge slides... So much todo. 

Cinderella's carriage was one Evie liked that, though this first picture says otherwise. 

There were these huge slides everywhere. I even got to slide down :)

The hay ride was AMAZING. So many huge things that we drive by. From Loch Ness to Elvis to Santa. 

The penny pit. It was a pit of tears for Joel. He didn't find any. 

The maze was pretty cool. Moving buildings. Explosions. Fun for Halloween. 

The end all be all of the day was the goat petting zoo. Joel was a little weary, but then he found Lickerberry (his name for) the goat. Evie jumped in with two feet. She loved it!

There was a tiny baby goat and his momma. It was so sweet! 

We had fun! 

Ok. I love sea food. A lot. Jared does not. We went in a mini date to downtown DC on the mall to go see the Hallocaust museum. On our way to the museum we stumbled o this fish market! It wa so cool! There were fresh fish and then there was a little restaurant. 

These fishes were the size of Evie. 

I also had my first taste of oysters. I loved them!
