Snuggle Bug

She loves to be wrapped tight. I think it's because her poor arms are so long, they get in her way. That being said, she always sneaks one hand up! And usually knocks out her passie. What. A. Weenie.

I'm pretty sure this little girl has colic. She, like i said, likes to be wrapped up tight, and on her tummy. So night times are difficult and she likes to pacify nurse.... which is exhausting for me.

So, on Tuesday, it was a particularly rough evening. So, Jared took her for a minute while i brushed my teeth. I walked out to find this....


Both snuggled up asleep.

This morning.

I just had to post about my lovely morning. (I haven't had one in a long time.)

Joel woke us up at about 7:30 this morning and I rolled over to Jared and said, "I'll give you $35 dollars of my own money if you will let me sleep in a bit."

So, Jared gets up and I sleep an additional 2 hours! So nice.

I got up, took and uninterrupted shower, and got dressed. I walked into the kitchen and said something like, "I want a cake doughnut like I've never wanted one before."

And get this.

Jared put his shoes on and went to Meijer.... For doughnuts.

Amazing

So, while Jared was at Meijer, Joel had some apple slices. And what was he doing with them? He was putting them in and out of Jared sneakers and then eating them. Kind of gross, I know. But so funny.















THEN! Joel found the recycling. And a soy sauce bottle.... and was "drinking" out of it. I promise it was clean! After he put it up to his mouth he would go "Mmmm, ahhhhh"











































I really had the best morning in the world. And I even woke up with hurt feelings. I love my boys so much.

Since half the world knows....

I guess I'll let you hear it from me.... Yes i am pregnant. Yes we planned it. Yes we're excited.

I'm pretty up set (well... really angry) about how this news got out but, i guess you can't always have it your way. All i can say is.... very bitter things. We're due in October. I've felt pretty good for the past couple weeks and I hope that is a good sign for the weeks to come. The past few mornings have been a bit queasy, but NO THROWING UP!! YAYA!!! And another chapter has started in our family. I really hope it's a girl!!!

He loves to scream, play peek-a-boo and can now walk. we're having so much fun with him! we'll see how adding another baby into the mix works out.

we're doing well. Jared just hit a big batch of papers and tests these past few weeks so, we've been pretty busy. I've been working a lot of saturdays and we're so happy as a family. :)

Our Family

So, since this is our first family Blog, I thought i would tell a little bit about each of us.

Jared. The dad.
He is going to School for Pharmacy at IUSB and is busy. He's such a great daddy and loves video games.

Emily. The mom.
I love scrapbooking (most of the time), Sewing, and music. all kinds of music. I'm pretty much a stay at home mom. I coach Speech and Debate at a local high school.

Joel. The kid.
Almost a year. and is full of the dickens. 24 lbs and so big! He loves playing with everything but the toys we buy him.

We live near both our parents and love that we have both Grandma's who babysit. we love being a family and watching movies. i'm learning how to make good food and jared loves eating it.


i guess that's it for now. i'll see if there is anything more i can write later.
